Home

Another summer day
Is come and gone away
In Paris and Rome
But I wanna go home
Mmmmmmmm

Maybe surrounded by
A million people I
Still feel all alone
I just wanna go home
Oh I miss you, you know

And I’ve been keeping all the letters that I wrote to you
Each one a line or two
“I’m fine baby, how are you?”
Well I would send them but I know that it’s just not enough
My words were cold and flat
And you deserve more than that

Another aerorplane
Another sunny place
I’m lucky I know
But I wanna go home
Mmmm, I’ve got to go home

Let me go home
I’m just too far from where you are
I wanna come home

And I feel just like I’m living someone else’s life
It’s like I just stepped outside
When everything was going right
And I know just why you could not
Come along with me
But this was not your dream
But you always believe in me

Another winter day has come
And gone away
And even Paris and Rome
And I wanna go home
Let me go home

And I’m surrounded by
A million people I
Still feel alone
Oh, let go home
Oh, I miss you, you know

Let me go home
I’ve had my run
Baby, I’m done
I gotta go home
Let me go home
It will all right
I’ll be home tonight
I’m coming back home

Last day of work people...

Its time to pack up the desk, clear away the files, delete all my illegally downloaded programs, kill off the internet history and remove the tags on my board.

My last hours here are the epitome of my entire working life in Hong Kong... arriving at the office with nothing to do, countdown-ing the minutes till the moment i can freely step off the office floor.

What is awaiting me today... Firstly, the time my boss calls me to her office to discuss my appraisal... (ooh...), then the minute it hits 12.00p.m where i start mass deleting every darn thing on my comp and finally 1.00p.m, where i would rush down to grab a few thank you cards and then rush to meet my family who's waiting for me to take the peak tram at central. Hopefully, after sightseeing, we would be able to take the ferry and have a nice dinner and i can finally FINALLY go to the gym after (gasp) 4 months of gym-absence...

I'm heading home tomorrow people... haha...hahaha...hahahahahahahahahahaha.... im soo happy really i am... =)

so darn darn darn happy. Can't wait to step off that plane (bloody typhoons better not delay anything) safely (bloody madmen better not try anything)...

Im going to come home to eat supper... and then on sunday going to spend the whole day with my family and my lovely lovely lovely boyfriend

Happy 5th Monthversary dear... so sorry i have only been physically there with you for 2...but i still love you!!! =D

The national Dinner yesterday was great! It was really fun and exciting and i just love the feel of organizing and planning and executing out an event from scratch. Sure, we made some blunders but nothing a little enthusiasm (and apologizing profusely) can't settle.

People there were really nice and generous. I really like the businessmen over here in HK (well most of them anyway), they were so spontaneous and so sporting, they really delved into the game and i can see... they really enjoyed themselves. Sometimes, it seems perfectly natural for me to join in their conversation and laugh and joke with them even though im not part of their corporate world at all, but, they make it so comfortable for me to enter their circle. If this is what networking is all about, sign me up for the next one.

My time in HK is almost up, im glad i went for several networking functions and am coming back with numerous namecards and memories of conversations i have had with these businessmen. Whether or not i receive offers, i am still pleased with the contacts i have made.

The NDP dinner started off with a little icebreaker, then the speech then dinner and then handing out of the main quiz and then the challenge at the end, finally prize ceremony and closing speech and of course, lots and lots of photo taking :) Its funny and amazing how some businessmen seem hesistant when the quiz was handed out and its funny and comical when they start turning serious and wanting to answer EVERY question correctly and the truly amazing part, the top three teams that emerged belonged to those individuals whom i previously had contacts and conversations with. Knowing them by their first name sure made the challenge more engaging and infinitely more personal.

It was a good night, and Qy did well for her first time on stage! :D Here are some pics... yes yes, ignore the red and white uniform...

exhausting day really... mentally and emotionally exhausted more like it...

Here are some pics of my trip to lantau island today with aunty Lillian and Uncle Alan...

Arrival at Lantau island at the Big Buddha place...(dont ask me why its called big Buddha place, thats quite self-explanatory)

Climbing the hundreds of stairs up to the statue... Aunty Lillian skipped this... and Uncle Alan survived the climb... barely... =P kidding..

But im still refreshed from the climb! (ok lar, i was exaggerrating, it wasnt a very high nor long climb)...

And the view was just great... and so was the air...

And well... i still had the time and energy to goof off and act silly... (Hey Jiang! I'm "rock climbing" too hur hur...)
